The driver tried to run from the crash scene, police said.
A drunken driver is facing charges after hitting three parked cars before crashing through a storefront window in Hellertown, police said.
Charged is Keith Zerby, 35, of the 1700 block of Clauser Street, Hellertown.
Police said Zerby just before 1:30 p.m. Friday was traveling in the 600 block of Main Street, when he lost control, hitting the parked cars and then, plowing into the storefront window of VapeMeister at 650 Main St.

Zerby was injured and while receiving medical treatment at the crash scene, tried to run away, police said. He was later found in the northern end of the borough and arrested.
Zerby is charged with driving while impaired by alcohol or a controlled substance, escape, flight to avoid apprehension and various traffic offenses. Online records indicate he is in Northampton County Prison.
